I've spent 15+ years leading engineering teams and shaping systems architecture — most recently as Staff Software Architect at Suzy, where I directed a team of nine engineers and contractors building AI-powered consumer research infrastructure. Before that, nearly a decade at LegalZoom leading the frontend engineering teams behind checkout systems serving millions of annual customers. I set technical direction, drive delivery through teams, and own the architecture decisions that make both possible.
My current focus is AI-native architecture — not AI as a feature, but AI as the fundamental design constraint. That means rethinking state management, orchestration, failure modes, and observability for systems where LLMs are first-class citizens. Suzy Stories — AI Insights Platform
Production multi-agent system that generated Slides, Narratives, and Infographics from user survey data. Built on LangGraph with multiple models orchestrated as tools: Claude Opus for insight generation and verification, Gemini for slide rendering, and Claude Haiku for brand/entity identification. Structured tool-calling drove each step with automatic regeneration loops on quality failures.
